  • Sonic The Hedgehog Movie in Development at Sony

    Art: Renaedeliz

It was only a matter of time before it happened, but Sony Pictures Animation is developing a feature film adaptation of Sega's hit video game Sonic the Hedgehog

The script for the movie will be written by Evan Susser and Van Robichaux. There’s no information on the story that they will tell, but the game centers on the world’s fastest hedgehog, whose peaceful life is often interrupted by his arch nemesis, Doctor Eggman.

The project is being overseen by Hannah Minghella for the studio, and this is what she had to say in a statement:

“There are limitless stories to tell with a character like Sonic the Hedgehog, and a built-in international fanbase. Along with our wonderful creative partners at Marza, we’re looking to capture everything that generations of fans know and love about Sonic while also growing his audience wider than ever before.”

    'Do-You-Remember?' of the day!

    Golden Axe

'Golden Axe is a side-scrollingbeat ‘em uphack and slash arcade video game released in 1989 by Sega for the System 16-B arcade hardware. It is the first game in the Golden Axe series.’

    - This video game is oldschool!
I think that everybody loved this video game back then.
I had to make a post about it because i think that this is one of those video games that had some importance in our childhood.
Epic and classic, that’s how i see 'Golden Axe'!

    Gunstar Heros

"Gunstar HerosTreasure’s debut game was originally released on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis in late 1993.
Gunstar Heroes is a side scrolling shooter. The player has four weapons to choose from, and they can be combined in various pairs to create a total of 14 unique weapons.”

    - If you don’t know this video game you should!
I love it, and sometimes i play it just to remember how great it was back then!

I found this website, where you can actually play it!

    Sega Dreamcast

"Dreamcast was a video game console which was released by Sega in late 1998 in Japan and in September 1999 in other territories.
Despite its short lifespan, the Dreamcast has garnered cult status for its history and features.”

I can still remember some good Dreamcast games like
Crazy TaxiJet Set Radio, and Shenmue.
It’s a shame that my Old Dreamcast is broken, i would definitely like to play this games one more time.

    Comix Zone (1995)

     - This video game is a masterpiece!!! At least for me…

Comix Zone is a 1995 arcade-style action game. The game’s unique feature is that it is set within the panels of a comic book.”
The kind of video game that used to get me addicted…
